About Bob Mancuso

My name is Bob Mancuso, and I would be honored to earn your vote for the Vitalia HOA Board of Directors. Every resident should participate in the upcoming election—your voice matters, and your vote helps shape the future of our community.

Eight years ago, I moved to Vitalia from New York with my partner and best friend, Paula Caracappa. After exploring both the east and west coasts of Florida, we chose Vitalia for its energy, activities, and beautiful setting—and we’ve loved it ever since.

Together, Paula and I have become active members of the community through the Pickleball and Tennis Clubs, the newly formed A Time to Dance Club, the Music Lovers Club, and Cooks Corner. I also help Paula with her free, monthly meditation sessions, volunteer with Club Amici, and serve on the Board of the Vitalia Players Theatre Club. In addition, I’ve been a member of the Vitalia Finance Committee for the past five years.

Bob Mancuso;s PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

My professional career has been primarily in the publishing industry, where I held senior financial and management positions, including Vice President of Finance. My responsibilities included financial planning, accounting, reporting, strategic planning, and operations with such companies as Simon & Schuster and HarperCollins.

I hold a Bachelor of Science and an MBA degree in finance, along with a post-master’s certificate in accounting—the latter two degrees were earned while working full-time. My experience also includes three terms as an elected trustee of the Eastchester School Board in Westchester, NY, where I served two terms as Board President.

Additionally, I hold a New York State real estate broker’s license, which has provided me with valuable insights into real estate markets and their impact on communities like ours.

To ensure that we enhance the value of our homes and promote the viability of our community, we must be vigilant in our pursuit of financial stability. As such, I will focus my attention on three key financial metrics: Monthly HOA Fees, Operating Cash, and Reserves.

It is essential to understand how these metrics articulate, both tactically in the annual budget process, and strategically based on decisions the board makes. Long-range planning (i.e. 3-5 years) is necessary to identify and address developments that would impact any or all of those metrics.

Vitalia is an exceptional community with many talented, experienced residents. As a board member, I believe in encouraging more residents to contribute their time and expertise by serving on our advisory committees. These committees exist to advise and assist the Board in governing Vitalia and give voice to the demands and needs of its residents.

Vitalia is a truly special place, and I want to help preserve and strengthen it for all of us. I would be grateful for
